Who Controls the Controllers is a part of an ongoing project “Untameable is the Wind”, which was initiated in 2008, and the first part of which came to a close in April 2010; an eleven month journey on land, passing through remote areas in Turkey, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, the Altai Republic, Mongolia, China, Tibet, Nepal, the Lo Mantang Kingdom, India, and Kashmir.
